Purchasing Security
Purchasing from Southern Roses Ltd online gives you convenient, quick, easy and secure purchasing options. Items displayed on the site can be purchased online using MasterCard or Visa or by direct debit from your bank account. When paying by credit card you are transferred to our bank’s secure payments site which uses top level security to ensure your credit card details are safely transmitted to their processing centre. We do not see or record your credit card number during this process.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15%). While we take great care to ensure all pricing is correctly displayed, in the case of a price being displayed incorrectly we reserve the right to charge the correct amount. In such circumstance you will be asked if you wish to proceed with or change your order.
Plant Sizes
Plants are measured and recorded as an estimate mature size. Due to dealing with living plants and the maintenance requirements required to maintain our product at its best quality these measurements may differ in time due to seasonal pruning. If you need confirmed height then please call us.
We reserve the right to prune/reduce, appropriately, the height of trees to meet the restrictions imposed on us by our courier company or to maintain the health, shape and vigour of the tree. Generally, large orders are freighted by truck (rather than courier) do not have the same restrictions so please request this option if you prefer a tree unpruned. Extra cost may apply.
Website Images
Images of plants on our website are generally of plants and flowers at full maturity and in their seasonal best. Depending on the season and age of the plant at time of purchase you should allow for a growing period before your plant returns similar results. Good feeding and care will ensure the very best outcome. Please see our Plant Care page for more information on growing healthy plants.
Delivery Costs
The cost of delivery is calculated at checkout time depending on the size of stock selected and the delivery destination. Proceeding to checkout to find out the delivery cost of an order does not obligate you to proceed with the order.Additionally, some plants are too delicate to wrap and courier, and large numbers of plants may require extra charges to truck to you. If alternative arrangements can be made then this may incur extra charges on top of the freight charged at checkout – we will contact you before processing your order and issue a refund if you do not wish to proceed. If you are ordering large quantities of plants, please feel free to contact us regarding freight options.
Delivery Destination
Southern Roses Ltd will courier your order to any destination in the North or South Islands, Stewart Island and Waiheke Island, in New Zealand. Orders are dispatched as soon as possible within a week. Please ensure delivery details are clear and accurate and where appropriate provide any delivery instructions. This is especially important for the speedy delivery of live plants.
Refund/Replacement Policy
We treat refunds and replacements on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion, upholding the principles set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act. We cannot take responsibility for plants that have perished due to lack of care or being in an unsuitable environment. If we have overcharged your order or goods are not available we will promptly refund the difference owing.
Stock Quality and Supply
Southern Roses Ltd is well known for the quality of our plants and our customer feedback indicates this is one of the reasons our customers keep coming back for more. Due to the seasonal nature of plants we may not hold stock of all items displayed on the website. These items should be labelled as out of stock on the web site but may be available for pre-order. If a product is shown out of stock it should also display an estimated in stock date. Otherwise please notify us and we will advise you when it will be available.
Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. We will not sell, trade or share your contact information with anyone. Your delivery address, email and phone number may be provided to our courier to facilitate delivery of goods and provide notification of delivery progress. At the time of purchasing, you can elect whether or not to receive any further communications from us.
